In this role, you will represent the customer inside the development team, with an initial focus on mobile application development for iOS and Android with teams that span both North American and European time zones. You will be integral to ensuring that we are creating value for our customers with every shipped release. We're looking for a product owner who thrives in a high growth, dynamic environment.Job DescriptionSingle, empowered scope authority for 1-2 scrum teams and low/medium product complexity. Actively using Agile Principles and Values with respect to scope definition, prioritization and team interactions. Handling product roadmaps with low/medium dynamics as a direct, trusted partner for Product Management. Best suited for growing and innovating existing products, this individual is expected to:Partner with Product Manager counterparts to understand the context behind larger projects in order to effectively frame and communicate the vision to other teamsAuthor user stories to effectively communicate the problem for the user to be solvedSketch or create lightweight wireframes and user flowsRepresent the stakeholders at grooming and design sessions to ensure stories deliver the required functionalityMaintain a backlog that is groomed deep enough with users stories that are understood, right-sized, and prioritizedFacilitate sprint planning sessions in order to deliver a cohesive set of stories that creates value for customers within the bounds of teams' velocityBe an available resource for developers and QA to make clarifications throughout the dev cycleVerify and accept stories meeting the Definition of Done criteriaInternally communicating release notesBe the go-to internal resource for how product components work - what they can do, cannot do, and impending changesSupporting launch activities including trainings and documentationQualifications2+ years of relevant experience working with SaaS solutions, bonus for experience working with hardware-enabled SaaS solutionsDemonstrated skills in translating user pain points into user stories that development teams can rally aroundIn-depth understanding of Agile methodologiesExperience with JIRA issue tracking/development software Accurate and precise attention to detailMust be solution and team oriented with the ability to collaborate, build credibility and trust, and influence othersStrong interpersonal skills, empathetic, and can facilitate a meeting of minds with cross-functional stakeholdersStrong analytics skills and demonstrated ability for second-order thinkingSelf-motivated, able to proactively work toward goals independentlyBasic Requirements2+ years of relevant experience working with SaaS solutions, bonus for experience working with hardware-enabled SaaS solutionsVaccine RequirementMotorola Solutions has implemented a voluntary COVID-19 vaccination policy.
