Job summaryWe are looking for an entrepreneurial, customer-obsessed Product Manager - Technical to help launch innovative new solutions that will contribute to Buy with Prime merchants' success. In this role, you will work across multiple technical and non-technical teams and orgs to help drive new zero-to-one initiatives and products forward, and ensure that the technology we implement truly meets the needs of merchants, shoppers, and Amazon. Working across orgs will require an ability to Earn Trust with stakeholders and partners, as well as provide an opportunity for you to learn about multiple Amazon businesses and operating models as you Dive Deep.Key job responsibilities* Work with internal stakeholders and external customers to identify and document business requirements, such as writing user stories and BRDs* Collaborate with tech teams (SDMs, SDEs, TPMs) to understand constraints, identify solutions, lead intelligent tradeoff decisions, and invent and simplify to remove obstacles and meet timelines* Communicate across teams and orgs and with leadership on new feature launches* Monitor customer feedback and the overall impact of features, suggest improvements, and lead iterations* Think Big about the future of DTC ecommerce, and how we can best support our merchant customers and shoppersAbout the teamThe Buy with Prime team is an ambitious new initiative with strategic importance to Amazon and our customers. We learn from our failures and celebrate our successes as a team.* 3-5+ years of experience in product management, working closely with technical teams delivering ecommerce and/or advertising programs and features* Experience owning cross-functional program and/or product strategy and end to end delivery* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated experience working with and presenting to senior executives and leading cross-functional and/or cross-organizational teams* Demonstrated ability to seek out and turn customer insights into meaningful product requirements and high impact features* Analytical and data-driven, with a strong ability to turn data into actionable insights that inform product thinking* Strong project management skills with bias for action and an ability to work independently with a high degree of autonomy* A Bachelor's degree or higherThe base pay range for this position in Colorado is $151,000 - 204,000/yr and in New York City is $151,000 - 204,000/yr. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
