Description

We are looking for a Product Manager to lead content strategy for Kindle Unlimited. In this role, you will identify opportunities to acquire content that will attract and retain subscribers. You will analyze content performance using data-driven insights to optimize acquisition efforts. You will also leverage customer feedback to ensure the catalog meets subscribers’ needs. Finally, you will collaborate with Finance and BI to quantify the value of content to ensure fair payouts to authors and publishers.

The successful candidate will be very comfortable with SQL and data analysis and will have the ability to influence leadership using data-driven insights.

Key job responsibilities

• Quantify value of content and evaluate profitability

• Leverage data to establish content budgets for program

• Partner with User Research to understand user behaviors that impact content profitability

• Recommend content payout model improvements

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience as a product manager or owner

  • Experience owning technology products

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
