Job Title Product Manager II, TRX Job Description About Your Role: Dotdash Meredith is looking for a Product Manager II, who will be responsible for expanding our vision and strategy for our transactional platform that spans across more than 40 brands and reaches more than 200 million users each month. You'll work with a cross-disciplinary scrum team to help our users find the best possible product to meet their needs across Dotdash Meredith's portfolio of award-winning brands. You'll partner with senior leaders for each product category, editorial teams, design and engineering teams, and other relevant stakeholders to develop a robust product strategy that leverages our unique capabilities: evergreen and news/deals content, SEO expertise, data science, beautiful design, and respectful monetization. You'll focus on transactional platform capabilities, helping our users solve complex problems by recommending best-in-class products and services with a monetization strategy that focuses on conversion. You'll report to a Director, Product. This position offers remote work flexibility; however, if you reside within a commutable distance to one of our main offices in New York, Des Moines, Birmingham, Los Angeles, Chicago, or Seattle, the expectation is to work from the office three times per month. About Your Contributions: Driving Vision & Purpose - Collaborate on product strategy and review your product roadmap with C-suite executives, GMs, and senior management team members. Collaboration - Coordinate with fellow Product Managers and Technology Leaders on the sequence of a cross-team project Interpersonal Savvy - Host calls for discovery and negotiation with potential partners and vendors Customer Focus - Analyze the consumer flow and define product enhancements that are going to drive brand engagement and excite advertisers Effective Communication - Walk engineers and designers through product requirements Business Insight - Act as a subject matter expert and assist the transactional teams in using and/or selling a new product/feature Directing Work & Driving Results - Congratulate the scrum team on the release of an awesome new product/feature, and send relevant communications to the rest of the organization Optimizing Work Processes - Facilitate process definition and define business rules by partnering with internal teams responsible for pre-sales, sales activation, and post-sales Strategic Mindset - Conduct studies of consumers on the sites, engaging with advertising and sponsored products, and analyze what's working and what's not About You: Minimum of 2-4 years of hands-on product management-strategy, analysis, and day-to-day product ownership and ideation You have an appreciation for the publishing workflow because you've done this before, e.g. experience at a premium, digital publisher, ad tech platform, or digital media buying agency You're able to juggle the needs of multiple audience segments and develop strategic product plans for each of them You're excellent at communicating and collaborating with a wide range of teams and stakeholders to build great products You're capable of developing with a big-picture product strategy for meeting user needs, selling it, and then working out the details to get the plan over the finish line You possess an innate desire to collect, synthesize, and analyze data to inform your strategy You have strong analytical and prioritization skills and experience applying them in the development of a product roadmap You have excellent data analysis and data-driven decision making skills You are fluent in Agile principles and methodology, and not afraid to jump in as the Product Owner for a team Preferred: 1+ years of experience in affiliate marketing / conversion businesses You have worked
