Amazon Product Manager, Alexa, Echo Sales & Marketing in Seattle, Washington

Description

The Echo Sales and Marketing team is seeking a customer-obsessed, analytical, and strategic Product Manager to lead sales and marketing for Echo products in Canada. As a Product Manager, you will be the primary contact for Echo products in Canada and work with a cross-functional team including product development, demand planning, in-stock, finance, retailers, merchandising, and advertising to develop and execute a multi-year plan to grow the Echo business. You will own marketing funnel optimization across channels, promotion planning and execution, inventory management, sales and engagement analytics, and regular leadership presentations

You will operate both strategically and tactically: thinking big to drive new opportunities and evaluate tradeoffs, diving deep into data to uncover customer insights, and maintaining operational excellence within your programs and with colleagues across Amazon. You will need to be able to prioritize effectively in a fast-changing environment, invent and simplify, and communicate clearly and persuasively. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Echo products, take strong ownership of the business, and be comfortable executing and giving feedback on new playbooks to maximize sales growth and efficiency.

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of product management experience

  • Experience in balancing conflicting priorities dealing with ambiguity

  • Experience in product, program, or project management in leading cross-functional teams in delivery of major new products or services

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Finance or related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building and analyzing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases and communicating results throughout the organization

  • Experience performing financial or other quantitative analyses

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (macros, pivots, lookups) at an advanced level

  • General Manager/owner mentality and an entrepreneurial drive with bias for action

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $93,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
