As a Product Manager 1 on Nordstrom’s Product Management Team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience through data-driven insights and delivering key features, functionality, and programs. You will collaborate across the organization to drive innovative solutions that solve real problems, anticipate customer needs, and exceed their expectations, thereby driving brand loyalty and improving financial performance.

As a member of the Loyalty Product Management team, you will help drive forward our customer experience through improving Nordy Club operations and the platform that supports our program . You will wear many hats, jumping from conversations about user experience to operations efficiency to data insights in a single morning. You will work closely with your Engineering squad to drive development , a s well as with your product peers given the intersection of loyalty across our business . You’ll be part of a team that works hard to engage and reward our customers and drive customer growth every day.

A day in the life…

  • Product Strategy and Vision - Contribute to a product vision that is aligned with company goals and business priorities and evangelize with your squad and key stakeholders

  • Continuous Discovery and Insights - Monitor key KPI performance , and keep current with customer and market research to provide insights for continuous improvements and feature opportunities 

  • Prioritization and Planning - Prioritize the product roadmap and feature backlog

  • Definition and Decomposition - Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and measurement plans

  • Collaboration and Influence - Collaborate with the Experience Design, Engineering , Analytics, and Marketing teams to create meaningful experiences for our customers 

  • Drive Impact - Embed with the Engineering squad to drive progress against deliverables through day-to-day management of backlog, agile ceremonies and launch planning

    You own this if you have…

  • 1 -3 years of product management experience or equivalent with technology or ecommerce company preferred 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business , Math, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience  

  • Basic technical background and understanding of software development principles, including Agile development and a/b testing methodologies 

  • Ability to build relationships cross-functionally with multiple teams from areas such as Analytics, Engineering , User Experience , and Marketing  

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presenting to various levels within a matrixed organization 

  • Proficient in data analysis and performance metrics 

  • Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.

Washington: $88,500 - $162,500 Annually

This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more. Eligibility requirements may apply based on location, job level, classification, and length of employment.
