Summary:

Meta Product Managers work with cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, data scientists and researchers to build products. We are looking for extremely entrepreneurial Product Managers who value moving quickly. Reality Labs is on a mission to build the next computing platform by putting people at the center of emerging hardware and software technologies. As the product lead for Horizon Developer Core Services, you’ll advance this mission by defining and building a core service layer and system applications that empower developers to bring amazing experiences to Horizon OS and Meta Quest devices.You will be responsible for working with both internal teams, partners, and developers to define our Meta developer services product offering and helping them deliver immersive, meaningful experiences. You’ll work closely with our partnerships, content and developer relationship teams to ensure developers can build thriving businesses as part of the Horizon ecosystem.

Required Skills:

Product Management, Director - Horizon Developer Core Services Responsibilities:

  1. Drive significant strategy and execution for initiatives that have the potential to change the trajectory of Meta, and influence the roadmap of numerous organizations at the company

  2. Understand Meta’s strategic and competitive position in the future of spatial computing and developer platforms. Deliver products that are aligned with our mission and recognized best in the industry

  3. Manage relationships with partners, ensuring they are well-supported and able to deliver value to our platfor

  4. Plan, initiate, and manage projects for virtual reality (VR) and mixed reality (MR)-based products and platforms

  5. Work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to drive product vision, define product requirements, coordinate resources from other groups (design, legal, policy, etc.), and guide the team through key milestones

  6. Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to balance the needs between near-term developer needs and long-term platform advancements

  7. Incorporate data, research, and market analysis to inform product strategy and roadmap

  8. Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products. Identify and track key performance metrics

  9. Drive product development with teams of world-class engineers and designers, while maintaining team health

  10. Empower and accelerate the organization in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are necessary

  11. Attract, build, manage, and develop a talented, diverse, equitable and inclusive team of product managers and product leaders

  12. Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Extensive experience in Product Management and/or related product functions.

  2. Extensive experience working collaboratively with engineering, design and user research teams

  3. Proven experience hiring, managing, and developing both individual contributors and senior leaders

  4. Critical thinking/analytical leadership experience

  5. Experience presenting to senior executive audiences

  1. Experience in a consumer focused technology company

  2. Experience building 0-1 products or platform/ecosystem products

  3. Experience managing strategic partner relationships or coordinating roadmaps and deliverables with third parties

  4. Experience building developer relationships and/or building for developer audiences

  5. Experience going through a full product lifecycle, integrating customer feedback into product requirements, driving prioritization and pre/post-launch execution.

Public Compensation:

$249,000/year to $323,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
