We are innovating the future of physical retail and we are looking for top talent to make it happen.Who are you?As a procurement coordinator you are part of a field operations team that is entrepreneurial, diverse and highly collaborative. You are flexible, adapting your approach to meet the needs of your customer, business and program stakeholders, and any engineering teams involved.You will will own end to end responsibility for ensuring that all hardware, equipment, and materials needed for a new site launch are procured and ordered based on the onsite dates provided by the business launch team. This will include aligning on bills of materials with the forecasting team, requesting items for transfer, from internal warehouses, as well as coordinating any external purchasing, from outside suppliers. You will lead order management KPI and metrics reporting, and work with stakeholders to find and understand deviation and improvement areas. You will align with the partner teams, drive efficiencies and improve procurement processes for new site launches.Key Job Elements:* Be the single point of contact to the business teams for their launch related procurement needs. This includes collaborating, communicating and escalating issues with cross-functional operations team, external business partners and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services to meet all business requirements and deliverables.* Track and communicate delivery schedules with internal partners, contractors and vendors as per SLAs.* Proactively communicate risks and issues to key stakeholders and recommend mitigations.* Document and maintain records of procurement, order fulfillment, and transportation activities for audit and follow up as necessary.* Day-to-day order management, including transactional issue resolution and critical information gathering regarding schedules, invoices, tracking info, etc.* Develop relationships across partner teams to ensure best practices are being shared and implemented.* Participate in the continuous improvement of processes and implementation of procurement best practices to maximize efficiency for the team and improve lead time performance.Amazon is an Equal Opportunity-Affirmative Action Employer - Minority / Female / Disability / Veteran / Gender Identity / Sexual Orientation* Bachelor's degree in related field from an accredited university or 4+ years of equivalent experience* 3+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement and/or construction within a fast-paced and customer-experience-driven team and/or retail environment.* Demonstrated ability in identifying tasks/milestones/stakeholders, creating/owning project plans, initiating/executing work orders, issue identification/resolution, communicating metrics/status updates* Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills* Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), including use of lookups and pivot tablesAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
