DL Screenprinting Print Shop Racker in Seattle, Washington

If you answered yes, this might be the perfect opportunity for you. DL Screenprinting is looking for a Shop Racker. This is an excellent opportunity for a hard worker that is interested in developing skills in the craft of silk-screen prepress. The ideal candidate would be dependable, self-motivated to work in a fast-paced workflow, and able to multi-task at different jobs. Must demonstrate excellent attention to detail to support the Shop Printer with print quality, registration, color, and production speed. Hours are Monday-Thursday, 32 hours per week from 7:15 am ā€“ 3:45 pm. What We Look for in all Candidates: *Fast, efficient workers with excellent attention to detail *Effective communicators and active listeners who use critical thinking to problem solve *Positive team members who are highly organized and self-motivated *Team players who maintain a clean and orderly work area and follow all safety rules and guidelines Key Responsibilities of Shop Racker: *Quality Assurance (QA) *Screen Preparation *Offload (rack) pieces *Assist Shop Printer in production *Support Shop Printer & Shipping Department by accurately counting jobs and communicating ā€˜QCā€™ Quality Control issues *Regularly lift and move up to 40 lbs. *Work/communicate daily with all shop members in all aspects of the shop needs *Fill in as needed around the shop Areas of Cross-Training: *Screen stretching *Operate industrial paper cutter to cut down jobs to exact specifications *Receive and stock shipments *Check and maintain the accuracy of inventory *Create and pack boxes and pallets for safe shipment *Process and print out packing slips for boxes/pallets *Create/process domestic and international paperwork for shipping carriers (FedEx, UPS, USPS) What the Successful Candidates Will Have: *Willing to learn skills needed to become a proficient Racker ā€“ print shop experience preferred *Able to remain on feet for daily work shift and regularly lift and move up to 40 lbs. *Able to work within a loud sounds environment (machinery, music, and mutt) *Follows instructions, takes responsibility for own actions, and works independently or on a team *Good written and verbal communication skills *Google Applications (Gmail, calendar, drive) are a plus *Is consistently at work and on time; ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent This is an excellent opportunity for a Shop Racker who is self-motivated and likes to work in a fast-paced environment.
