Description

The RISC Product team is seeking an experienced Principal Product Manager- Tech to set the vision and change the paradigm for how customers purchase and safely use products.

Key job responsibilities

You will be responsible for driving a multi-year vision that changes the paradigm for how customers purchase and safely use products. You will be responsible for facilitating external partnerships as well as working cross functionally with internal teams spanning business, engineering, design, category management, machine learning, customer service, legal, and operations functions to effectively implement your solutions.

About the team

The Buyer Safety Experience charter is focused on the end-to-end safety customer experience of products sold on Amazon. Our ability to appropriately surface safety information ensures customer make safer purchase and use decisions. Customers should be able to clearly and easily understand their recourse if a safety incident occurs post-purchase. Because customers are different around the world, we know that a one-size-fits-all solution will not work. We will build worldwide products that allow for the flexibility of regional and marketplace specific needs. This will allow us to scale our outreach to customers to ensure a safe shopping experience.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience technical product management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements

  • Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $144,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
