Description

Amazon's worldwide Pricing CX team is seeking a seasoned product manager to transform how customers experience and understand pricing during their product discovery journey, particularly in upper funnel like search. With millions of customers discovering products through search every day, we have a unique opportunity to shape how they perceive and interact with pricing information at this crucial touchpoint.

We're looking for an innovative product leader with proven record who can reimagine the pricing experience to solve critical customer challenge -- helping customers efficiently navigate broad selection while surfacing the most relevant pricing information. You'll collaborate across functions with product owners, engineers, UX designers, researchers, and BI engineers to deliver innovative, customer-centric solutions.

The ideal candidate thrives on tackling ambiguity and complexity. You are a big-picture thinker with a relentless focus on customer obsession. You have a proven track record of turning ambiguous customer problems into measurable hypotheses and scalable solutions.

Key job responsibilities

This is a highly visible position. You must have the experience and capability to prepare documentation for senior executives and align your roadmap with Pricing Perception Org objectives. Excellent written, verbal communication and data analytical skills are a necessity. Successful candidates should thrive in a highly collaborative, creative, analytical, and fast-paced environment oriented around delivering better prices to customers worldwide. You will excel at looking around corners, and anticipating where to build and when to test to fail fast.

A day in the life

  • Define the multi-year vision for the space, including a rigorous experimentation roadmap with clear success metrics

  • Build and manage high quality product roadmaps based on your vision and strategy

  • Work backwards to determine what the initial building blocks to achieve that vision will be

  • Work with key business stakeholders, engineering, and research to build out product requirements

  • Manage prioritization and trade-offs for speed to launch, performance, and features

  • Gain support for your strategy and roadmap from stakeholders by writing narratives and influencing peers and senior leadership

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience technical product management

  • Proven experience in front-end CX product management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements

  • Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
