Amazon Web Services Principal Product Manager - ES, RDS Commercial Engines, Oracle/SQL Server in Seattle, Washington
The Relational Database Service (RDS) team at AWS is looking for a Principal Product Manager-ES to lead and continue growing the product management discipline across its Oracle and/or SQL Server commercial database engines. RDS manages the world’s biggest fleet of relational databases and our customers rely on us to keep their data safe, secure, and highly available.
The role will be responsible for working across and developing a vision that balances growing our base as well as staying ahead of the forward-looking customer and business trends in relational database system.

10+ years of data driven product management experience including partnering closely with software development teams
Experience building a compelling vision for a large and ambiguous space and to work across diverse stakeholder groups to deliver against this vision
Track record of managing complex product management cycles and working with engineering teams to define, scope and prioritize projects
Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to analyze data and develop metrics to back up assumptions and evaluate outcomes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills – ability to simplify complex topics for broad audiences
Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, data-driven, and entrepreneurial environment. Experience defining and launching accessible products or services
Strong technical acumen, and understanding/curiosity about relational database systems.
MBA or Master's degree in Technology (Computer Science, Computer Engineering)
