Principal Application Integration Engineer

We are looking for Principal Application Integration Engineer for our products with a passion for developing cutting edge solutions that enable Oracle Hospitality Cloud applications to seamlessly connect with a variety of cloud applications, both internal within Oracle Cloud such as HCM, ERP and CX but also third-party applications.
Responsibilities:
Analyzes technology environment, enterprise specifics and requirements
Provides significant contribution and oversight in the design and development of integration solutions and solution prototyping
Delivers high quality products/solutions and ensures that best practices and sound engineering principals are applied in all phases of the software development life cycle
Tasks include working with internal and external customers and partners to define functional and interface specifications, evaluate various technology options, design integration architecture, prototyping, implementing and testing integration solutions
Possesses sufficient knowledge to constructively challenge current practices or approaches; identifies trends that have impact on work unit, or products and articulates implications to upper management
Has the ability to gain working knowledge of other ORACLE departments and how these areas can benefit his/her area
Provides training and mentorship to less experienced development staff
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in technical discipline (preferably in computer science, information technology or related field)
8 years of experience in the area of application integration with both cloud based and hybrid solutions with 3 years in technical lead/team lead role
Passion and a genuine interest in integration
Knowledge and understanding of iPaaS technologies and cloud native architectures
Knowledge and experience implementing integration solutions using Oracle Integration Cloud service (OIC) and related Oracle technologies
Expert level knowledge on enterprise integration architecture and patterns
Exposure to Open Source integration tools such as Apache Camel, Apache Airflow, Kafka, Mule to name a few
Knowledge and experience with core Java, SOAP/REST web services, microservice architecture, and Oracle database
Excellent communication skills
Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
Colorado Pay Range: From $105,217 to $200,534 per annum
