Meta Pricing Lead, Global Investment Pricing & Investment Operations in Seattle, Washington
Meta is looking for an experienced pricing operations leader to join the Global Investment Pricing and Investment Operations, a part of our Business Planning and Operations organization. Our team's mission is to design incentive programs and optimize processes and operations to accelerate sustainable growth for Meta’s Business Teams. This role will support Go-To-Market teams across Meta as they bring new software, hardware, and ads-related products to market. The Pricing Lead will support the Global Investment Operations team by designing, launching and executing custom pricing strategies across Meta’s suite of products. This will include high priority ads products like in stream reserve as well as our hardware and software products. In this role, you will partner with Product, Product Marketing, Sales, Business Development, Legal and Finance teams to design, execute and oversee custom pricing structures as part of ongoing business and for specific pricing and packaging launches. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support numerous, diverse business units in Meta’s constantly growing suite of business products, and participate in the development of a new function within the company.
Pricing Lead, Global Investment Pricing & Investment Operations Responsibilities:
Partner with Business Leadership, Product, Marketing, Sales, Accounting, Legal and Finance to translate pricing strategy and revenue plans into commercially viable discount frameworks and financial models.
Oversee these frameworks from design through execution, including project managing Legal, Finance, Accounting and other cross-functional teams to to update internal operations systems and tools.
Enable and execute custom deal pipeline tracking and reporting, using multiple internal systems and tools.
Ensure approvals required for non-standard deals have been properly documented, raised to the right approval levels, and resolved.
Develop and manage communication including internal enablement and updates.
Modify and adjust business-level pricing and packaging strategy to accommodate the nuanced needs of different regions, segments, countries, and channel partners.
Establish principles and framework for reviewing and renewing custom pricing deals, keeping in mind the possibility of future pricing or packaging changes and ensuring compliance with obligations, operational constraints and relevant regulatory requirements.
Balance revenue acceleration needs with Meta’s constraints by adjusting commercial models and technical implementations to accommodate nascent infrastructure.
Work with the Quote to Cash Commercialization team to define future business needs in order to kick off infrastructure investments.
Manage guardrails and execution of bridge solutions and renewal motions at the regional and segment level to ensure transparent and expeditious deal decisions.
7+ years of work experience (or 4+ years and an advanced degree) in one or more of the following: strategy or operations within the Ads, SaaS or Platform Partnerships industries or relevant consulting experience
Deal making expertise with demonstrated experience understanding and communicating legal, commercial, regulatory, and operational risk
Experience using data to create compelling stories that communicate key messages across the organization and to influence various levels of management
Experience in presenting to and influencing leadership at all levels of an organization
Demonstrated advanced Excel experience to develop, optimize, and streamline complex commercial models
Experience in building discount frameworks and ROI analyses
Experience working in a fast-moving, often uncertain environment and to adapt to new teams, roles and responsibilities in an ongoing fashion
Experience working with or in support of diverse communities
Team player with demonstrated project management skills. Will be asked to keep multiple projects and programs moving simultaneously
Strategic-thinking, problem solving, and organizational skills and experience adapting quickly to changing priorities
Works well under pressure, resourceful, works well independently and is a self-starter
Experience in driving and maintaining healthy cross-boundary collaboration
Proven interpersonal and communications skills
Experience building or documenting business processes and procedures
Highly organized and attention to detail
