USI Insurance Services Preferred Client Services Account Manager in Seattle, Washington
General Description: Responsible for the service, sales and retention of client accounts assigned to the Customer Care Center. Activities include, but not limited to new and renewal marketing, handling client questions and requests, policy checking and coverage review. Required to perform essential functions and meet service standards and Best Practices developed by USI.
Service client accounts independently utilizingcarrier websites and online rating systems.
Provide technical expertise in coordinating theservice of new and existing clients through sales, account development, andproblem solving in accordance with the objectives and procedures based on USICore Values and Standards.
Submitto eligible and appropriate carriers and follow-up to ensure timely receipt ofquotes and policies.
Respond to underwriters’ questions in a timelyand professional manner.
Maintain a high degree ofaccuracy in agency management and document management systems.
Refer clients to carriers for direct reportingof claims. Submit first reports of claims (when necessary) for specialtymarkets and facilitate prompt response from carrier.
Work within the USI Personal Risk initiativesincluded, but not limited to, placing business in and utilizing carrier servicecenters, direct bill and download where ever possible.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
2-5 years experience in Personal Lines Property& Casualty Insurance Agency along with a thorough understanding of allProperty & Casualty insurance coverages, underwriting and rating concepts. HighSchool Graduate. College degree preferred, but not required.
Must hold state Property & Casualtyinsurance license or willing to obtain one within an agreed upon timeframe.
Ideally (but not required) hold an industrydesignation such as ARM, CIC, CPCU or expected to further industry knowledgethrough courses.
Strong written, oral and interpersonalcommunication skills.
Knowledge of Sagitta/WorkSmart preferred, butnot required.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment withminimal instruction and a high degree of accuracy.
Sets priorities and manages work flow to ensureefficient, timely and accurate processing of transactions and otherresponsibilities.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Keep informed regarding industry information,new product information, legislation, coverages and technology to continuouslyimprove knowledge and performance.
Interact with others effectively by utilizinggood communication skills, cooperating purposefully and providing informationand guidance, as needed, to achieve the business goals of the company.
