Founded in 2012, with Elasticians around the globe. Learn more at . Elastic's Corporate Communication team is looking for an organized, results-driven PR specialist, AI Innovation to join the team. In this role, you will support the AI/ GenAI innovation communications program, including a steady cadence of technical announcements from Elastic's Search Business Unit. This is an intense, fast-paced, and influential role in a lively, experienced, high-energy team. This role requires an individual who can collaborate with cross-functional teams, demonstrate strategic thinking, and communicate effectively at all organizational levels and externally. You will work closely with product management and product marketing team members at all seniority levels to deliver high-impact, tech PR programs that deliver measurable results. To be successful you need to be an outstanding storyteller with strong technical writing and program management skills. You also need to confident and capable in an often ambiguous environment where you manage multiple projects with multiple collaborators across functions and geographies, in addition to staying up to date with the technology media landscape. This is a remote position and reports to the Director, PR & Corporate Communications, who is based in the U.S. Core responsibilities: Coordinate regularly with a broad set of marketing and communication colleagues. Support AI Innovation initiatives, including writing and editing multiple technical press releases, bylines and awards submissions Support additional PR initiatives, including media relations, events, reporting and measurement, and more across corporate communications, product, partner and public sector. Work collaboratively with external PR agencies to ensure that media priorities and objectives are met or exceeded. Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, marketing, or related field and 3 to 5 years of experience working in an external communications Additional or preferred qualifications Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, marketing, or related field and 3 to 5 years of experience working in an external communications role either in-house or at an agency Agency experience is highly desirable 3 to 5 years of experience in media relations, journalism and/or corporate storytelling with a focus on enterprise technology; experience with AI and cybersecurity a plus The capacity to work quickly and decisively to meet deadlines and response to media inquiries Ability to manage complex projects in a fast-changing environment Strong writing and communication skills Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary. This role does not have a variable compensation component. The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below. In select locations (including Seattle WA, Los Angeles CA, the San Francisco Bay Area CA, and the New York City Metro Area), an alternate range may apply as specified below. These ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.
