We are recruiting for the following position(s):

Full-time position available immediately for our Quality Improvement Department. Under direction of the Quality Improvement Medical Director, the Quality Department Projects Manager, manages, organizes, and coordinates assigned projects. A primary assignment will be to project manage an existing collaboration of Sea Mar with multiple other external agencies to expand and improve services to the Medicaid population. Additional assignments may involve specific quality improvement projects within the Quality Department. This essential role provides logistical support and tactical guidance to teams and projects to deliver specific goals, but also advance the goals of Sea Mar as a whole. S/he will build and lead cross-functional teams responsible for projects. Interfacing with internal departments and external entities, the Projects Coordinator works to further Sea Mar?s leadership role as a provider of high quality social and health services to diverse communities throughout Washington.

Requirements and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor degree in health sciences, management, business or related field is required.

  • A Master degree or working toward a Master degree is preferred.

  • Project management training a plus.

  • At least one year working or volunteering in a health care environment is desired, preferably in a community health center setting.

  • At least one year of relevant project management and QI experience preferred

  • Interest in and knowledge of community health care and primary care

  • Experience in or with a FQHC preferred

  • Must be willing to travel throughout Washington State

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, training/meeting facilitation skills a plus

  • Solid relationship building and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent writing, research, analytical and time management skills

  • Excellent coordination skills, including multitasking and setting priorities on work assignments

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software

  • High degree of independence, flexibility, initiative and commitment

  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations both internally and externally

  • Demonstrated awareness and value of cultural competence

  • Commitment to improving the patient experience

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is helpful but not required.
