We are recruiting for the following position(s):

Part-time position available for Renacer an Adolescent Treatment Center located in Seattle. Provides individualized education services to high-risk adolescent youth in a secure residential setting. Develops Individualized Educational Programs (IEP?s) for youth who qualify for Special Education. Works collaboratively with the Chemical Dependency Counselors, Mental Health Counselors, and other support staff in providing integrated learning opportunities. Provides services on an individual basis and in small classroom settings. Expected to subscribe to the disease concept of chemical dependency with the belief that total abstinence is required for ongoing recovery from alcoholism and other drug addiction.

Education and/or Qualifications:

  • High school teaching certificate with special education endorsement required.

  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
