Requisition ID 32654 Category Sales/Business Development Position Type Full-Time About the Role Provides professional leadership and coordination for assigned current accounts. Plans, organizes, leads and controls balanced sales growth, continued account penetration and customer satisfaction on a long-term multi-year focus. Your Impact - In existing accounts prospects for new business through face-to-face, cold calling, and social networking. - Develops strategies to maintain and develop accounts with the key decision makers at the enterprise account level. - Develops strategic plans to address customer's needs and requirements on a local and national basis. Strategy should include short term as well as long-term goals. - Provides marketing, technical and administrative support to the named accounts' internal departments to ensure outstanding relations and excellent customer support in all facets of daily activity. - Develops plans to introduce/place Canon technology, service, and software and 3rd party solutions to address customer requirements. - Reports customer activity to management identifying customer requirements, competitive trends and changing environments. - Maintains high level, executive contact with account, focusing on the establishment and maintenance of the strategic relationship. - Establishes relationships with customer base that enhance long term working partnerships with the company. - Resolves complex problems for exiting accounts. About You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 7 years of related experience. - Degree in business preferred. - Progressive responsibility in sales, industry and marketing experience. - Extensive knowledge of, or ability to learn Canon products and competitors. - The ability to work autonomously and have excellent relationship management skills . - Strong communication skills including the desire to build solid working relationships with a variety of businesses. - An interest in learning new technology in an evolving industry. - Requires expert knowledge of the theory and current practices in a recognized field of expertise or specialization. - May require up to 25% national travel, including overnights (valid driver's license and acceptable driving record necessary). - Strong knowledge of customer management and social marketing/networking tools. - Ability to learn Canon processes including device configuration, pricing , order entry, shipping and device returns, document review. We are providing the anticipated base salary range for this role: $84,350 - $126,300 annually. This role is eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. This role is eligible for a transportation allowance.
