Northwest Center Pickup and Delivery Service Manager in Seattle, Washington

Northwest Center is looking for a P&D Service Manager to join our Iconic Big Blue Truck team.

 

In this position, you can expect to have a hands-on role in managing multiple teams while creating a positive impact in our community. You will be responsible for managing the pickup and delivery of donations across multiple delivery teams and working closely with sales, customer service, and other leaders to ensure successful customer-facing results.

 

*Location: *SeaTac, WA

Schedule: Friday - Monday; 8 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.

*Wage: *$25 - $28 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the safe and efficient pickup and delivery of product throughout the Puget Sound area while minimizing operational cost and maximizing operational quality
  • Analyzing operational performance through direct observation, interpretation of reports, and collaboration with others
  • Leading daily employee and/or planning meetings to ensure communication of operational updates and daily goals
  • Maintaining compliance and understanding of all safety programs
  • Training new employees 
  • Coordinating large pickups, bin placements, and removals
  • Scheduling store deliveries and trailer unloads
  • Cross training on warehouse functions

Requirements

  • Valid Washington State Driver's License
  • One or more years of box truck driving experience
  • Verbal and written communication skills necessary to communicate with various audiences
  • Software skills, including use of Microsoft Office software suite and web-based applications
  • Ability to stand/walk on various surfaces for extended periods
  • Comfortable with bending and stooping
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
