Kaiser Permanente Physical Therapist (1.0 FTE Northgate) in Seattle, Washington

Provide comprehensive evaluation of assigned patients condition and develop goal-oriented treatment programs designed to bring patient to a normal or optimum state of health and functioning. Provide and document a course of treatment. May require local travel.

Essential Responsibilities:

Provides physical therapy observation, evaluative testing, and assessment. Develops, provides, and documents a clinically and age appropriate course of treatment based on evaluation. Displays good judgement in implementation of treatment plan. Uses therapeutic procedures including patient/caregiver education in an appropriate and competent manner.

Contributes to the efficiency and productivity of the organization by managing own workload autonomously (scheduling, consultation, participation in non-direct patient care activities as needed or assigned).

Remains current in recent development of PT/OT techniques and procedures per specialist/generalist practice areas.

Maintains effective written and verbal communication with patient, are providers and other members of the health care team; and documents according to Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Washington/department standards.

Basic Qualifications:


Minimum one (1) year of rehabilitative experience.


Bachelor's degree in physical therapy from an accredited school of physical therapy.

License, Certification, Registration

Washington State Physical Therapy License is required by date of hire/transfer.

Additional Requirements:


Preferred Qualifications:

Ortho, Neuro or Geriatric experience.

Master's degree in physical therapy.
