The UW MEDICAL CENTER MONTLAKE NEONATAL ICU- has an outstanding opportunity for a Patient Services Specialist Supervisor. WORK SCHEDULE

  • Full-time (40 hours per week)

  • Lead Patient Services Specialists and other assigned staff, and perform the work of the other Patient Services Specialist levels

  • Direct, schedule and assist in the training of staff; provide feedback to supervisor on staff's performance

  • Monitors daily performance dashboard; call waiting, queues, abandon rate and ensures daily work complete and accurate

  • Identify and resolve problems or unusual situations; recommend changes as necessary

  • Monitor and evaluate policies and procedures to suggest operational changes

  • Assists in the preparation and maintenance of provider and clinic schedules QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a medically related or public relations field

  • Four years of experience as a Patient Services Specialist OR High School graduation or equivalent and four years of experience as a Patient Services Specialist and a UW Supervisory Skill Certificate OR equivalent education/experience.
