WORK SCHEDULE

• 100% FTE; Days

• Monday-Friday 800am-430pm DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION Located two blocks from the main medical center in Harborview's Ninth & Jefferson Building on First Hill in Seattle, the UW Medicine Eye Institute offers cutting-edge medical and surgical eye care for common to complex conditions and disorders.Our staff provides comprehensive treatment for people with glaucoma, cataracts, diseases of the retina, cornea, orbit and nerves and age-related eye diseases. We also perform refractive procedures such as LASIK and oculofacial plastic surgery procedures. POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

• Opportunity to provide career growth PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Providing staff, providers, and patients with an efficient system of internal and external communications, including phone answering and call triaging

• Scheduling provider and ancillary service appointments

• Obtaining patient demographic, financial, and clinical information

• Partnering with all members of the clinic team to prioritize patient satisfaction and exceptional care delivery REQUIREMENTS

• High school graduation or equivalent AND

• One year of healthcare, administrative, or customer service experience OR
