  • Opportunity to provide career growth DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION Conveniently located on Pacific Highway South and not far from I-5, UW Medicine Primary Care at Kent/Des Moines has board-certified providers that offer a complete spectrum of primary care services including family medicine with obstetrics, pediatrics, internal medicine, behavioral health and nutrition services. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead Patient Services Specialists and other assigned staff, and perform the work of the other Patient Services Specialist levels

  • Direct, schedule and assist in the training of staff; provide feedback to supervisor on staff's performance

  • Monitors daily performance dashboard; call waiting, queues, abandon rate and ensures daily work complete and accurate

  • Identify and resolve problems or unusual situations; recommend changes as necessary

  • Monitor and evaluate policies and procedures to suggest operational changes

  • Assists in the preparation and maintenance of provider and clinic schedules

  • Perform the work of the Patient Services Specialist 1, 2, and 3 REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • Three years of Patient Support Service experience OR
