UWNC - Belltown Clinic has an outstanding opportunity for a full-time (100%, 40 hours per week), day shift, PATIENT SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE LEAD (job profile: Clinic Patient Services Specialist Lead). The Patient Service Representative Lead provide support services such as triaging patient telephone calls to medical staff, scheduling appointments, registering patients, maintaining patient records and assembling patient charts, patient between care questions and secure messaging, and initiating and processing patient charge documents.
Direct, schedule and assist in the training of staff; provide feedback to supervisor on staff's performance;
Monitors daily performance dashboard; call waiting, queues, abandon rate and ensures daily work complete and accurate
Assists in the ordering of clerical supplies.
Participates in UW Med registration committee work groups, documents and implements standard work
Register patients, respond to patient questions, make telephone assessment of patient problem and severity of condition
Other Duties as Requested
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Three years of Patient Support Service experience or equivalent education/experience
Course(s) in medical terminology preferred.
Seminars/workshops in customer service preferred.
