As Partner Specialist, Amazon Connect, you will have the exciting opportunity to deliver on our strategy to build mindshare and adoption of Amazon’s contact center as a service (CCaaS), Amazon Connect, across AWS’s business partners and their customers. Your responsibility will be to drive executive and field relationships with leading SI consulting firms on a regional and national scale. By building a solid specialized partner development and GTM team and establishing and growing business and technical relationships with these partners, you will be responsible for driving top line revenue growth and overall end customer adoption across all market segments. You will possess a business background enabling engagement at the CXO level, a sales background that enables interaction with Enterprise customers and sales/field reps, and the ability to engage with a partner across multiple geographies and within multiple vertical markets to achieve results. You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, and to build and convey compelling customer value propositions around CCaaS.

Key job responsibilities

  • Build a specialized Partner Development and GTM plan for specific partners

  • Identify and activate new systems integrators partners to define and execute high impact development, joint sales and go-to-market programs promoting Amazon Connect

  • Expand Connect adoption as well as drive new customer engagements with partners to grow overall revenue with a focus on business outcomes.

  • Engage the partner’s field sales organization, channels and end customers to create and drive incremental revenue opportunities for AWS.

  • Set a strategic business development plan for target markets with assigned Partner management teams, and ensure alignment with the AWS strategic direction.

  • Manage and drive joint Connect sales engagements between partners and AWS sales teams.

  • Evangelize partners’ capabilities and successes through targeted communications to AWS and partner teams including field sales, solutions architects, business development and other interested stakeholders.

  • Work with AWS Partner Solution Architects (PSA) to help assigned partners to define go to market solution offerings utilizing the AWS service portfolio. Also work with PSAs ensure partners deliver quality services and results for customers.

  • Understand the technical requirements of our partners and work closely with the internal development team to guide the direction of our product offerings.

  • Domestic and travel to meet with customers, partners and to AWS events

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience

  • 5+ years of professional or military experience

  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level

  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations

  • Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
