Harborview Medical Center - Parking and Commuter Services has an outstanding opportunity to hire a PARKING SUPERVISOR 2 .

WORK SCHEDULE

  • 40 hours per week, Day Shift POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

  • Facilitate the operations section of a large transportation program

  • Responsible for coordination of transportation for major campus events requiring direct and detailed communication with public safety, fire, health and other related departments; supervise and motivate staff team

  • Lead with customer service which promotes the Harborview Mission Statement

  • Be a part of a team dedicated to supporting UW Medicine where Patients Are First PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • With delegated authority, interview and recommend selection of applicants, train new employees, assign and schedule work, act upon leave requests, conduct annual performance evaluations and recommend disciplinary action

  • Ensure proper condition of department infrastructure, ie. radio communications systems, toll gates, coin changers and related

  • Assist in the development of the departmental budget

  • Develop, recommend, and interpret departmental operations regulations, training material, and process improvement

  • Inspect parking areas facilities; work cross functionally with departments to resolve problems, ie. deconflict loading zones, track and organize reserved parking, and related

  • Determine staff and equipment needed for athletic or special events REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma, or GED Certificate; AND four years of experience in a high-volume parking system, one year of which must be in a supervisory capacity. College coursework in business administration, or related field, may substitute, year-for-year, for required experience, excluding supervisory experience.Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration.
