Summary

The Operations Program Manager will provide strategic planning and decision-making support to a Tier 1 customer product line. The successful candidate will drive strategy & customer programs at relevant CCS sites with a cohesive approach, aligning capabilities, capacity & roadmap with customer needs. They will formulate Business Plans / Cost-Benefit analysis related to BCP / site setup / transfer and support business expansions by providing strategic direction and technical guidance.

Detailed Description

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

  • Provide strategic planning and decision-making support to Tier 1 Hyperscale products.

  • Drive strategy & Customer programs at relevant CCS sites with a cohesive approach.

  • Aligning capabilities, capacity & roadmap with customer needs.

  • Formulate Business Plan / Cost- Benefit analysis related to BCP / site setup / transfer.

  • Support business expansions by providing strategic direction and technical guidance.

  • Champions and sponsors continuous improvement efforts with the sites.

  • Lead the coordination of manufacturing functions & processes with multiple facilities.

  • Conduct internal reviews related to multi site operational metrics.

  • Accountable for tracking & execution of programs on a multi-site or global basis.

  • Escalation management on operational / technical issues including triage prior to customer engagement.

  • Operations owner in customer communication and Operations review.

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of Operations and how decisions impact customer satisfaction, product quality, on-time delivery and the profitability of the unit.

  • In–depth knowledge of manufacturing, the production process and the tools and equipment used in the process.

  • Good understanding of interaction between Operations and all other functions in the company.

  • Excellent analytical, negotiation and problem resolution skills.

  • Ability to establish manufacturing goals and coordinate a wide variety of resources to meet quality and quantity metrics.

  • Good understanding of industry performance expectations and definition of industry leading performance.

  • Ability to evaluate, prioritize and problem solve a variety of tasks to ensure their timely and accurate completion.

  • Ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of internal and external customers and the senior management team.

  • Ability to effectively lead, manage, train and motivate a diverse group of employees to achieve high performance levels within tight time deadlines in a highly dynamic manufacturing environment.

  • Extensive experience in World Class Manufacturing/Lean implementation.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to work effectively cross functionally and with other sites to achieve objectives

Physical Demands

  • Duties of this position are performed in a manufacturing environment with occasional exposure to elements such as noise, dust, chemicals, operating machinery, temperature extremes, etc.

  • Duties may require periodic sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.

  • Occasional overnight travel is required.

  • Above demands are carried out within the local existing Health and Safety guidelines

Typical Experience

  • Twelve plus years of relevent experience

Typical Education

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience

Location: This is a remote position, with travel as necessary. We are open to considering candidates close to any of our US locations in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Texas, Arizona, Oregon or California as well as locations near major airports such as the Northeast, Southeast, Midwest and Pacific Coast.
