Coordinates, supervises and is accountable for the daily activities of business support, technical or production team or unit. Impact of work is most often at the team level.
This position is full time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to work an 8-hour shift schedule during our normal business hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm PST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. Our office is located at 904 7th Avenue, 3rd floor, Seattle, Washington.
We offer on-the-job training. The hours during training will be 8:00am – 5:00pm PST, Monday - Friday.
Primary Responsibilities:
Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion.
Coordinates work activities with Practice Manager
Develops plans to meet short-term objectives.
Identifies and resolves operational problems using defined processes, expertise and judgment.
Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business plan.
Assist staff in navigating the medical management system (e.g., find resources, answers questions)
Provide oversight and review of coordination of care (e.g., chronic condition management, utilization management, case management)
Ensure employees are current with clinical licensure and certifications -Develop/oversee/deliver operational or technical training
Develop medical and clinical operations program goals
Identify and implement business development opportunities to support growth of medical and clinical operations programs
Oversee/navigate technology and software applications utilized in the delivery of medical and clinical operations programs
Oversee management/service delivery systems utilized in member care -Intervene in resolution of member or employee complaints or issues as necessary
Create and implement a business continuity plan to minimize interruptions to the business

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma / GED
Must be 18 years of age or older
3+ years of experience in healthcare clinical setting
Previous team lead/SPV experience
Experience with computers and Windows based programs including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point & Microsoft Outlook, Teams
EPIC system experience
Ability to work an 8-hour shift schedule during our normal business hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm PST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
The salary range for this role is $59,500 to $116,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
