Amazon Operations Analyst in Seattle, Washington
Description
Do you like to solve problems, drive solutions and influence features launched for customers? The AWS Monetization Analytics, Customer success and Technology Enablement (ACT) team is looking for a talented Operations Analyst who will resolve escalated operational issues across cross-functional teams such as Accounts Receivable, Accounting, Operations, Customer Service, and Software Development teams.
Key job responsibilities
As an Operations Analyst, you will use your strong written and verbal communication skills to lead multi-discipline initiatives. A successful candidate will work hard on behalf of our customers to provide day to day resolution of complex customer escalations and drive root cause resolution to eliminate future issues. Organizational skills including attention to detail and the ability to navigate unknown/ambiguous issues without clear path to resolution are critical. This role requires analytical skills, critical thinking, and technical savvy to understand customer issues and build trust with technical stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
At least 3+ years of professional working experience in related occupations of Systems Analyst, Business Operations Engineer, Business Operations Program Manager, Business Analyst, or related
At least 3+ years interacting with internal and external stakeholders at executive level
At least 3+ years with business analysis and functional experience with quantitative, analytical and organizational skills
At least 3+ years experience working with technical teams to build technology-based tools/solutions that will reduce costs and improve the overall program
At least 3+ years experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Detail oriented and experience balancing multiple tasks and deadlines
Strong organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
Strong background in business operational process improvement
Experience involving distributed system performance analysis and optimization.
Experience in E-commerce payments processing
An MS in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Customer Service background
Great organizational skills and attention to detail; able to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate technical information to internal and external customers or vendors
Proactive and forward-thinking attitude and creative problem-solving ability
A motivated self-starter who can work independently in a fast paced, ambiguous environment

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $169,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
