The Federal Systems Technology department of the USFGMD is responsible for service supporting a charter of implementing and integrating complex systems sold worldwide to the US Federal Government. As a USFGMD Systems Technologist, you will be exposed to a wide variety of communications requirements in both the Presale and Post Sale phases of a project. These applications span the entire breadth of the US Federal Government throughout the world.Job Description This position is a dedicated Onsite LMR Technical System Manager position working directly at our customers location in Seattle, WA. Candidates must be based within 1 hour from Seattle, WA. Applicant MUST be willing to travel by air up to 10% of the time and be a self motivator. Job Responsibilities Responsibilities include everyday maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and customer training on Motorola Land Mobile Radio Products. This equipment is state of the art Astro 25 trunking. Verbalize and communicate concepts and recommendations to the customers and within the Motorola organization. Provide a detailed understanding of Motorola systems permitting the individual to assist in the design, troubleshooting and maintenance of Motorola's product lines. Deliver a thorough understanding of Motorola RSS/CPS software and how toprogram subscribers and infrastructure equipment. Candidate Expectations Experience working with Infrastructure Technologies to include Motorola Astro 25 cores, MCC console line and 3rd party networking equipment Must be able to obtain CompTIA Security Plus Strong networking skills required Understanding of IA systems and group policies in a network administrative position. Applicant must be proficient with Microsoft Office products and Motorola Radio Service Software products. Must have a excellent communications skills and always present a professional image. Required to complete Standard Form 89 Questionnaire for National Security Positions. Must be willing and capable of meeting the requirements to obtain a DHS Public Trust Clearance. The candidate must be able to obtain a passport Must be a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contract(s) Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.
