Virginia Mason Franciscan Health in Seattle, Washington is recruiting a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, Per Diem to join our Gynecology practice in our Bellevue or our other Eastside locations.

Seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with strong clinical, and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate is a skilled clinician and advanced practitioner who can lead a health care team and work collaboratively.
● Be comfortable with IUD, nexplanon placements
● Standard gyn expectations for ARNP and PA
● Be comfortable doing pelvic exams and contraceptive placements for 13 years of age and up
● Team based approach. Our Gynecology team focuses on providing patient-centered, compassionate, and multi-disciplinary state-of-the art care for our patients. We believe in advancing the field of gynecology through quality patient care, research, and education. The team meets regularly for multidisciplinary conferences, fostering a team-based approach.
● Innovation: The Virginia Mason culture promotes new approaches, best practice standards and continual improvement for both the patient and team member safety and experience using our Virginia Mason Production System with the vision of being the quality leader in healthcare.
Washington State Registered Nurse License and an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License are required for this job.
Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and National Provider Identifier (NPI) numbers may be required depending on the position, as well as prescriptive authority.
Advanced background in nursing; an understanding of anatomy, physiology, histology, and pharmacology; and strong interpersonal and counseling skills.
Certification by specialty area as well as work experience in specialty area may be required, depending on the position.
2+ years of experience highly preferred
- This position requires Certification as a Physician Assistant with prescriptive authority in the State of Washington.
