Seattle Children’s Hospital Nurse Manager, Ambulatory Clinical Operations in Seattle, Washington

Responsibilities: In this role you will provide Nursing Leadership for our outpatient Surgical Clinics at Seattle Children's. This is a Monday-Friday day position. Responsible for managing the clinical operations and support staff for assigned specialties and sites of care, meeting continuous performance improvement, customer service, financial, and delivery requirements in support of Seattle Children's mission, vision and values.Ensure safe, efficient and cost-effective care is provided to patients and families. Partner with the Specialty Division Chiefs, Directors, Business Operations manager and applicable leadership to support effective clinic operations. Accountable for the implementation of strategic initiatives, model of care, clinic flow, optimization and regulatory compliance for assigned areas.Direct reports may include registered nurses, certified nurse assistants, medical assistants and patient support coordinators, nurse technicians and other staff as assigned. #LI-GH1 Requirements: Required: Current Washington State RN license. A national nursing certification must be obtained within three years of employment. Current BLS for Healthcare Providers. A copy of Bachelor's degree in Nursing or transcripts indicating attainment of Bachelor's degree (or higher) in nursing is to be on record with Human Resources upon hire. As per the College of American Pathologists (CAP) and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), for RN's performing moderately complex point of care testing, a copy of a diploma or transcript of the highest level of academic achievement to be on record with Human Resources upon hire. For personnel trained outside of the U.S., records of diploma/transcript must provide documented equivalency evaluation by a foreign credentialing agency. Preferred: Master's Degree in Nursing or business related field. Recent clinical experience in a pediatric ambulatory setting. Recent experience in an ambulatory management and/or leadership role. Min to Max Hourly Salary: $59.18 - $88.77 /hr Min to Max Annual Salary: $123,094.40 - $184,641.60 /yr Salary Information: This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
