This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Facilities, and Security. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. As part of a diverse and hardworking team of technicians, you will perform multiple NDT methods for various spaceflight systems. Special Mentions Relocation provided Shifts available: Day shift Monday- Thursday: 5:00 AM- 3:30 PM Responsibilities: Perform inspections using Penetrant Test (PT) inspection method. Ability to successfully pass the General and Specific exam within the first 30 days of employment. Ability to successfully pass the POD and Practical within the first 90 days of employment. Establish and maintain techniques to properly examine hardware, ensuring adherence to all safety and specification requirements. Interpret inspection results and apply acceptance criteria identified on drawing or shop work order. Perform all necessary daily, weekly, monthly process control checks. Documentation and organization of inspection results. Interface/communicate with Engineers and/or Managers to describe inspection results. Minimum Qualifications: Level 2 experience in Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection method. Must be able to pass Liquid Penetrant General Test within a week of start date, and a Specific Test by week 3 (General Test study materials will be provided if needed) High School Diploma or GED Ability to support Monday - Thursday, 5am to 3:30pm shift with occasional overtime. Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Preferred Qualifacations: Experience in low rate, high mix production environment, preferably in aerospace Knowledge of manufacturing processes including welding, additive manufacturing, forgings, castings, and composites fabrication. Experience in other inspection methods including Eddy Current, Digital Radiography, Computed Tomography or Ultrasonic.
