Amazon.com has an immediate opening for a Technical Business Development Manager to accelerate customer adoption across all of new services WW. This role will capture, identify and define how best to take new services to market - informed by best practices proven to accelerate customer adoption of new services in AWS, as well as industry best practice. Focusing on the most important new services for customers and the business alike, they apply best practice and remove critical blockers to accelerate customer adoption. This will require them to engage users to experiment with new approaches, evaluate their effectiveness and scale those that work. To deliver this work, the successful applicant will lead a WW team based in Seattle, yet focused on serving WW customers for critical new services.The ideal candidate possesses 7-10 years of experience in business process improvement, technical program management, plus experience managing complex and large-scale and technology projects. The applicant needs to be adept at framing unframed problems, developing experiments and determining how to anticipate customer needs. A Bachelor's degree is required and demonstrated ability to lead others in a technical environment. Successfully delivering aggressive project deliverables while effectively managing capital budgets is essential.The successful candidate will be an exceptionally strong communicator both written and verbally, and will lead multi-discipline, highly technical project initiatives. The ideal candidate will have successfully managed multiple enterprise-scale infrastructure projects.Candidate must be comfortable managing remote project delivery teams, and possess the ability to facilitate technical whiteboard sessions to troubleshoot project implementation issues, and remove barriers to project success. The candidate can multitask and reprioritize and effectively lead deliveries based on ever changing business needs. This candidate will be a self-starter and required little guidance, have a will get it done attitude and can make decisions independently.
