Amazon Web Services Multimedia Experience Designer, Worldwide Enablement in Seattle, Washington


Job summary

As a Multimedia Experience Designer, you will play an integral role in helping build the most efficient sales organization in the world. Our sales professionals need effective, consumable, and relevant training to solve customer problems. You will work alongside Learning and Multimedia Experience Designers to create design assets for innovative learning games, videos/animations, and eLearning courses that help sales professionals learn and practice the right skills to help customers achieve their goals.

This position must be based near a US AWS Office. Strong preference for Seattle (WA), Arlington (WV), Boston (MA), Austin (TX), or New York (NY). Any location in the US where Amazon has a presence will be considered. Domestic relocation is offered.

Key job responsibilities

· Collaborate with creative leaders to gather design requirements

· Propose design concepts with rough sketches, animatics, prototypes, storyboards, or mood boards

· Develop and deliver high-quality, innovative multimedia assets (video, eLearning, motion/animation)

· Use performance data and anecdotal feedback to steer future designs

A day in the life

A day in the life includes creative design brainstorming with peers, self-directed development time, reviewing designs with stakeholders, implementing feedback, and participating in regular team strategic planning sessions to continuously improve team design/development standards.

· 3+ years professional multimedia design experience, ideally in a fast-paced corporate setting

· 3+ years experience developing eLearning courses and/or game-based learning experiences through industry standard tools (Articulate360, Construct3, etc) or custom HTML, Java, CSS, etc)

· 3+ years experience using video editing tools and design software within Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, Illustrator, AfterEffects, Photoshop) or similar tools (Camtasia, Final Cut, etc)

· 1+ years strong project management experience with excellent verbal and written communication skills


· A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a design-related field

· 1+ year experience partnering with and presenting to executives, business leaders and stakeholders
