A Multimedia Experience Designer (MxD) within the Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS)

organization is responsible for 1/ designing, developing and delivering learning solutions for programs from a strategic and creative standpoint, 2/ conceiving and pitching innovative ideas, tools, or mechanisms, and 3/ communicating creative strategy to audiences, especially stakeholders, partners, and leadership in non-design roles with sound reason and judgment. This role specializes in areas including e-learning, web/app scripting, graphics, video, animation and/or gamification.

This role collaborates closely with Program Managers (PMs), Learning Experience Designers (LxDs), and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to optimize the delivery of training and enablement content to AWS Sales and Technical Field

personnel.

Key job responsibilities

  • Instructional design to develop e-learning modules, templates, and other interactive learning and/or gamified training assets.

  • Leverage new innovations with strengths in front end web development, building Apps, and/or Generative AI

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, Learning Experience Designers (LxDs) and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand program goals and meet project timelines.

  • Employ project management skills and tools to manage multiple training projects across all phases.

  • Develop sales training content and assets according to style guidelines and design standards that engages learners.

  • Manage results and content tracking through metrics, surveys, and Learning Management Systems (LMS).

  • Expertise in content creation, design and delivery tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline 360, Rise 360, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, LMS systems).

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of design experience

  • Hands-on experience with a working portfolio in eLearning (Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite), Gamification, Learning Management Systems).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expertise in HTML, CSS, Javascript, App development

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $108,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
