What You'll Do * Build modular, semantic, performant, and accessible components and patterns * Streamline and automate the infrastructure needed to deploy code, integrate with products, and manage change in various codebases dependent on a design system * Foster a harmonious environment with multi-disciplinary teams of product managers, designers, and innovation strategists to craft rapid prototypes intended to find new ways of solving problems that deliver substantial value * Make complex solutions simple and easily understandable for clients and team members * Collaborate with and coach teams on leading practices to create and maintain design systems * Quickly get up-to-speed on new challenges and understand the strategic value and business dynamics of an organization What Will Make Us a Good Match * You're curious and enjoy developing modern web experiences * 10+ years of expert knowledge of crafting semantic, accessible HTML markup * You enjoy writing CSS, keep up on the latest specs and understand modular CSS development (BEM, OOCSS, SMACSS, Atomic Design), and can articulate which methodology works best for a given problem * You're familiar with ES6, can write vanilla JavaScript, and understand various JavaScript patterns and when to use them * Production experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular * You're familiar with npm and various packaging and module bundling options (e.g., webpack, rollup, parcel) * You have familiarity with front-end testing frameworks and how to write effective tests * You can expertly balance opportunities and constraints while solving both human and technical problems * You have a learner's mindset and understand that the technologies we use today may not be the technologies we use tomorrow About Us Slalom is a purpose-led, global business and technology consulting company.
