Job Description

A day in the life...
Develop and manage financial plans that balance the ambition and vision of our merchants with the deliverable objectives of finance and the strategic initiatives of JWN.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners, such as category planners, replenishment, price, and allocation to understand and align on business objectives, opportunities, and risks
Analyze historical and current data, trends, and merchant feedback, to produce intelligent insights, actionable recommendations, and flexible business solutions
Communicate and educate various stakeholders on the financial plans, assumptions, and results using clear and compelling storytelling and data visualization
Act as a change leader to support company initiatives and ensure adoption by merchandising team
Influence and empower teams to take ownership of their business and deliver key performance indicators, such as sales, margin, inventory, and turn.
You own this if you have...
A bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
At least 2 years of experience in merchandise planning, financial planning and analysis, or a similar role in a retail environment
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other analytical and presentation tools
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills
A customer-centric mindset and a passion for fashion and retail

Pay Range Details
The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.
Washington: $92,000 - $155,000 annually
This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more. Eligibility requirements may apply based on location, job level, classification, and length of employment.
