What You'll Do:

T he Merchandiser is the daily contact that our customers have with Kerry. This individual is responsible for providing service and merchandising at US FoodsChef Stores andCash & Carry operations inselect markets. You'll build and maintain professional business relationships with assigned accounts and deliver ourBest-in-Classlevel of standards. You'll openly communicate all information and field intelligence to your supervisor. Equally, the merchandiser will maintain an acute awareness of brand perspectives, customer needs and adequate inventory within the distributor's locations.

This Route Includes Locations South of Seattle from Tumwater to Tacoma, Washington, USA.

What You'll Do:

Driving a route 5 days per week, your will:

  • Monitor inventory movement to ensure correct product mix & rotation

  • Stock store shelves and displays with new merchandise

  • Write sales orders for inventory which is low and out

  • Generate in-store merchandise sales performance activities

  • Assist with special projects as deemed necessary by supervisor

  • Achieve 100% In Stock on all authorized items

  • Achieve 100% new item distribution in assigned accounts

  • Build integrated retail customer relationships by expanding customer penetration across multiple stores to deliver business objectives

  • Develop solutions that improve and deliversustainable results within merchandising

  • Provides clear and timely feedback to ensure operating standards regarding customer satisfaction, merchandise presentation, promotions, inventory levels.

  • May cover extra stores on limited basis when there is a void in coverage due to holidays, sick leave, vacations, etc.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • High School Diploma or equivalency required; Associates preferred

  • Reliable form of personal transportation

  • Stand, bend and stoop consistently for entire shift

  • Function independently with minimal supervision

  • Quick and confident problem-solver

  • Lift 40lb. cases above shoulder level and climb in-store ladder

  • Strong communication interpersonal skills

  • Strong background in food service and merchandising

  • Change management experience.

  • Ability to work with customers, store employees and various partners
