Seattle Children’s Hospital Medical Laboratory Technician - Microbiology in Seattle, Washington

Responsibilities: Perform laboratory processing, testing, and provide results to clinicians. #LI-JR1 Requirements: Required Education/Experience: - Associate degree from an accredited college/university that includes either: 24 semester hours of medical laboratory technology courses, OR 24 hours of of science courses in chemistry and biology. Required Credentials: - Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Certification, or three years experience in a high complexity clinical laboratory with documented training. - As per the College of American Pathologists (CAP) and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), for Medical Lab Tech performing moderate or high complex point of care testing, a copy of a diploma or transcript of the highest level of academic achievement to be on record with Human Resources upon hire. For personnel trained outside of the U.S., records of diploma/transcript must provide documented equivalency evaluation by a foreign credentialing agency. Preferred: - Clinical Laboratory Experience specific to the current opening Min to Max Hourly Salary: $25.09 - $37.64 /hr Min to Max Annual Salary: $52,191.00 - $78,286.00 /yr Salary Information: This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
