Reports To: VP, Strategy & On-Air Marketing

Position Summary:

The manager of Media Planning & Reporting is responsible for providing support to the VP as well as media planning scheduling teams across two specific cable networks. Primary responsibilities include synergy support work order coordination and data reporting & tracking for company-wide Synergy, Corporate Franchise and Cross Channel initiatives. A media planner and scheduler who understands proper implementation of scheduling promotional support and reporting/data extract communication is preferred. Experience in Grip-It system reporting is a plus.


• Use the promo & traffic systems to extract data, categorize and provide reports of on-air support across the multiplex of channels, including but not limited to: Company-wide synergy support for all cross channel cable networks, and Corporate Social Responsibility.

• Understand and be able to speak to: 1) the data provided within the reports (GRPs/IMPs, reach & frequency, $ value, demos, runs and conversion), but also critically so, 2) the strategy and context behind the elements within the reports.

• Track, and media plan as needed, detailed weekly inventory for on-air and digital support of LOBs listed above across both platforms to ensure corporate priorities are met.

• Work Order management and coordination across the platforms for all Synergy content including but not limited to the following:

• Coordination of creative & delivery through M360 system with Partnership Marketing

• Manage all work order edits (date changes, end dating, length changes) in both M360 and Wide Orbit traffic systems across all 4 platforms.

• Manage the daily, weekly and monthly system maintenance to provide the most accurate and timely media values.

• Coding for all synergy for accurate scheduling and reporting.

• Attend Partnership Marketings & Synergy Content Meetings

• Assist the creation of Media Planning decks and presentations.

Job Related Experience:

• 3-5 years of media planning and on-air scheduling experience preferred.

• GRiP It!, Wide Orbit, Salesforce, AdVisor knowledge a plus.

• Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.

• Highly organized with attention to detail.

• Professional phone manner and strong inter-personal people skills.

• Must have strong communication skills.

• Must have a positive and can-do attitude.

• Must be team oriented.

Job Related Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
