Description

We are seeking a meticulous and efficient Materials Handler to join our Fortune 50 Client. The Materials Handler role is crucial in ensuring that materials and medications are received accurately and distributed appropriately across multiple facility sites. The ideal Materials Handler will have a strong background in material handling, particularly in a hospital or warehouse setting, and exhibit excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

Match shipments with packing slips on multiple POs to multiple locations across multiple sites.

Re-package supplies to ship to end-users.

Organize and set up repackaged shipments based on multiple locations and sites.

Special handling of medications, ensuring safety protocols are followed (e.g., refrigerated items, ambient signatures).

Manage and organize special orders and place them in proper areas throughout the facility.

Problem-solve and research issues such as miss-shipments, lost deliveries, or wrong products received by end-users.

Work closely with the procurement team to resolve PO issues, including short shipments, unit of measure mistakes, and incorrect products shipped.

Provide support to the rest of the team as needed.

Requirements

Strong material handling background focused on receiving in a hospital or warehouse setting.

Attention to detail, particularly in managing medications and other sensitive medical equipment.

Strong computer skills.

Excellent customer service skills.

Ability to manage time well.

Must be able to work independently and collaboratively with

teammates at different sites or working remotely.
