MarTech – Client Leader – Customer Data Platforms

About the Position

As a Client Leader, your primary responsibility will be to champion client success, foster revenue growth, and nurture team growth within our MarTech consulting practice. Your role will have a profound impact on both our clients and our organization overall. Additionally, you'll serve as a vital link between our team and senior leadership at Acxiom, keeping them informed about project progress, client issues, successes, and potential areas for growth. Furthermore, you'll be instrumental in shaping and strengthening our Client Services team, ensuring that we're prepared to manage both immediate and future growth while keeping our operations profitable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead client relationships across a diverse portfolio of MarTech consulting clients, ensuring satisfaction and alignment.

  • Manage project scope and customer expectations, advocating for clients while ensuring clarity throughout.

  • Coordinate client meetings and workshops to align business requirements with solution roadmaps.

  • Drive value realization from Marketing Technology investments, conducting ROI assessments.

  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to monitor project delivery status and communicate effectively with clients.

  • Gather and analyze client feedback to improve service delivery and ensure client satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure client success and drive revenue growth.

  • Support Growth teams in translating customer needs into actionable product solutions for client organizations.

  • Contribute to pipeline development through client engagement and partnership conferences to promote Acxiom services.

  • Forecast resource needs and align with project demands to optimize resourcing.

  • Keep senior leadership informed on project progress, challenges, wins, and opportunities.

  • Develop the Client Services team to support both current and future growth objectives while maintaining profitability.

Required qualifications

  • Extensive track record in implementing solutions across leading Marketing Technology platforms, particularly focusing on Customer Data Platform (CDP) technologies and integrations with other platforms like Analytics, Testing & Optimization, and Journey Orchestration.

  • In-depth familiarity with Acxiom’s product suite pertaining to Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), including integrations and applications.

  • Proven experience in product consulting and data architecture, with a demonstrated ability to articulate platform ROI for client investments and advise on strategies aligned with business objectives and budget constraints.

  • Proficiency in translating complex technical concepts and delivery models into easily understandable documents for clients.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the MarTech landscape, encompassing both established and emerging platforms, as well as staying abreast of emerging capabilities like AI innovation and regulatory requirements.

  • Extensive hands-on experience with digital marketing use cases and channel activation, coupled with a keen understanding of common business challenges across diverse industries.

  • Typically requires a minimum of ten years of relevant architecture experience, complemented by a Bachelor's of science degree or masters; alternatively, fifteen years of experience of professional experience.

  • Preferable to have a background with reputable consulting firms of considerable size, such as Sapient, Accenture, Deloitte, among others.

  • Certification in one or more platforms such as Adobe would be advantageous.

  • Trusted advisor in rapidly evolving business environments, equipped with advanced expertise in MarTech/AdTech solutions, adept at addressing industry-wide challenges and specific client needs.

  • Exceptional networking skills, fostering connections across stakeholder groups within organizations.

  • Extensive experience in sales support and leadership in solutions architecture, contributing to a solid foundation for client engagement.

  • Proficiency in one or more leading customer data platforms, namely Adobe #GD17
