Online Metals is the leader in B2B and B2C direct to consumer metals sales in the United States - and sells both 1p and 3p items on its site. 3p items are sold through the Online Metals marketplace. Job Description Online Metals is searching for a marketplace business development manager who will be responsible for accelerating the growth of qualified sellers and additional products added to the Online Metals marketplace. Since 2023, the Online Metals Marketplace (eCommerce) already has grown into the largest online metal first marketplace and has been positively received by both sellers and customers. Online Metals is searching for a high growth minded eCommerce professional to primarily drive seller acquisition, seller engagement with the marketplace, and the expansion of marketplace product categories. http://www.onlinemetals.com The manager will be supported with resources to help prospect for sellers, store onboarding support, marketing support to grow the account, and executive support to prioritize key revenue driving ecommerce investments. This position reports directly to the president of Online Metals and will have one direct report along with oversight of a sales prospecting agency. The role is based out of Seattle, Washington; Metro Detroit/Southfield, MI and can also be a remote position. Travel to marketplace events and Seattle may be periodically required (10% of job). PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES * Prospect for new sellers and provide business recommendations to streamline seller onboarding. * Engage with sellers to help ensure their success within the marketplace.
