Amazon North America Stores is seeking seeking a Site Marketing and Content Manager to create high-value marketing and merchandising on-site campaigns and strategic planning, creation, and distribution of marketing content across various channels. Campaigns will support the customer discovery of new and relevant products within Amazon extensive selection of Home, Electronics, Clothing, Shoes & more.

The Site Marketing and Content Manager will be responsible for creating best-in-class marketing campaigns, helping to drive sales, engagement, and customer growth. They will work closely with subject matter experts, writers, designers, and other content creators to produce engaging and effective content. They will own executing and optimizing merchandising on-site (amazon.com) and will leverage performance data and testing to develop recommendations, operational efficiencies, and best practices. The Site Marketing and Content Manager will oversee the content across various platforms, workstreams, and cross Amazon Events. The ideal candidate is a strong project manager, customer obsessed, data-driven, detail-oriented, and excited to work in a fast-paced environment. They are comfortable working both independently as well as in close partnership with team members across the marketing and technology organizations.

In this role, you will need to think strategically and creatively to build merchandising and content strategies for key initiatives and programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing best in class site cross category merchandising and content strategies.

A successful candidate must be able to work at the strategic level (using customer behavior to generate ideas for growth) and at the tactical level (optimizing campaigns with merchandising tools, analyzing traffic data, and ensuring content consistency). This candidate will have a strong understanding of all aspects of the marketing funnel and possess project management and influencing skills to work across multiple teams to achieve success.

Key job responsibilities

• Responsible for the planning, strategy, and distribution of marketing content across various channels (e.g., website, social media, blogs, email).

• Partners in development and strategy of the content and editorial calendar to align with marketing, business objectives, and business calendar.

• Creation of Goals, ROI/KPI’s to measure success across internal and external partners/teams in addition to industry benchmarks and brand NPS scores.

• Works closely with subject matter experts, writers, designers, and other content creators to produce engaging and effective content.

• Ensures the consistency and quality of the brand's messaging and seasonal storytelling across all content.

• Manages the content lifecycle, including ideation, creation, review, approval, publishing, and communication newsletter across partner teams.

• Monitors content performance and makes data-driven decisions to optimize content for better engagement.

• Collaborates with other marketing teams (e.g., social media, demand generation) to integrate content into broader marketing initiatives.

• Own merchandised Event process from end-to-end: managing creative processes, planning, execution, reporting, and optimization.

• Track progress to marketing metrics, goals, and KPIs to measure success of marketing campaigns

• Identify trends and signals in which types of campaigns, including creative, product, or messaging is performing best, and utilize these inputs to optimize campaign and content strategy over time

• Coordinate with multiple teams to provide thorough and authoritative category and event creative content

• Strong bias for action and ability to prioritize

• Own weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting on the state of initiatives and goals assigned.

• Aptitude for organization, flexibility, and producing results in a fast-paced environment

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion

  • Experience managing and measuring marketing performance in various channels

  • Knowledge of analytical reporting tools (ie Excel, Tableau)

  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate projects across functional teams, including product management, marketing, creative, legal and merchandising teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience presenting ideas to various levels of an organization to gain support for initiatives

  • 3+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $98,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
