Washington Federal Marketing Communications Manager in Seattle, Washington

This position's primary responsibility is to assist the Chief Marketing & Communications Officer with day-to-day duties, including coordinating some company events (both internal and external), providing support for pricing and product research, branch and employee communication, marketing and advertising programs, press relations, managing all social and digital marketing campaigns and some investor relations functions. You will have experience planning, managing, and executing events (live and virtual) of various sizes and are ready to roll up your sleeves to do what it takes to deliver a seamless experience. As an MCC, you will support the Chief Marketing & Communications Officer with day-to-day duties, providing support for pricing and product research, branch and employee communications, marketing and advertising programs, press relations, email marketing campaigns and all digital/social advertising tracking and execution and some investor relations functions. This position also supports building community engagement through sponsorships, and cross-collaboration with partners and vendors. Other duties may be assigned:Think, operate, exemplify, and deliver results that are logical, creative, strategic, and innovative while meeting objectives and goals.Coordinate production of print media, advertising, and sales literature with the Marketing Communications Manager.Plan, track and support branch events, grand openings, tradeshows, corporate marketing functions and special events as assigned.Create and oversee timelines and deadlines for all phases of the event process: creation and planning, audience and cross-collaboration across teams, and procurementCreate and distribute memos, advertising schedules, marketing materials, and other pertinent information as assigned.Support departmental efforts to build a strong internal brand and corporate culture.Invoice support -- Understanding GL codes, coordinating with branches, manager, and Accounting department.Support branch Business Development Requests for event plans and promotional items, copyediting, and coordinating production of marketing flyers and branch event materials.Purchase, monitor orders, and maintain inventories of all Bank promotional items via third-party warehousing and fulfillment services, to include Teamwear and the ordering of general marketing supplies.Update, proof and distribute deposit rate sheets for Deposit Operations and website rates for loans and deposits at least weekly or as needed. Provide telephone support for Marketing Communications.Facilitate all client communication regarding upcoming branch closures, relocations, and new locations.Support Digital Marketing Manager with social media and Marketo email campaigns -- includes uploading and verifying files and exporting data.Ensure utilization of best practices, technology standards, and compliance of our email marketing efforts with brand guidelines and spam regulationsDesign and produce print marketing materials (event flyers, advertisements, signage, vehicles, & apparel)Create, publish and distribute promotional/external and internal corporate newslettersManage sponsor/exhibitor correspondence, and tracking, and recognition.
