We are on the lookout for a dynamic Sales Manager to spearhead the sales and distribution of our Beer, Malt Beverage and RTD brands across both Retail and On-Premise accounts. This role offers the unique opportunity to execute innovative sales strategies and plans, ensuring the maximization of our brand presence in the market. As the ideal candidate, you will be deeply involved in collaborating with distributor personnel, including Representatives, District Managers, and Account Managers, to implement monthly programs, identify sales opportunities, and effectively close gaps to enhance points of distribution. Your ability to strategically allocate your time and make judicious decisions will be crucial in prioritizing activities that yield the highest opportunities for brand growth. Your responsibilities will extend to monitoring performance goals, training and coaching distributor sales teams, and gathering market intelligence to identify competitive and brand opportunities. You will play a pivotal role in motivating distributor management and sales teams, coordinating with local Shopper Marketing teams, and ensuring the commercialization of digital marketing programs. What You Will Need: Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of Gallo winery or distributor sales reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of CPG sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 6 years of Gallo winery or distributor sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility. Candidates for this position must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record. Required to obtain a California driver's license or appropriate state driver's license within 30 days of hire. Required to obtain liquor license as required by state/locality. Required to travel by air and car in order to execute job functions. Required to be 21 years of age or older. Required to travel by air and automobile up to 50% during the course of business. Experience demonstrating strong leadership selling, time management, public speaking skills. Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation.
