Alaska Marine Lines is looking for a motivated individual who will be responsible for coordinating with operations to plan and facilitate the accomplishment of preventative maintenance and repairs for all AML facilities by acting as a lead on assigned projects.This is a safety sensitive position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- - Perform and review inspections of marine terminals and equipment
- - Field and respond to requests for maintenance from remote terminals
- - Plan, estimate and get approval for facility repairs identified from inspection reports
- - Issue and approve PO for facility repairs
- - Provide guidance in the operation and maintenance of facilities and marine structures including pavements, buildings and rail marine terminal utilities
- - Produce documents including drawings and specifications for maintenance and operation of marine terminals
- - Prepare cost estimates and time schedules for proposed maintenance activities and projects at the budget phase and throughout project
- - Work within the scope of cost, quality, and time parameters established
Provide alternatives when analyzing and
