We are proud and excited to offer summer internships for 2025 across several of our different office locations and are currently seeking a Manufacturing Intern to join the Supply Chain team located in Seattle.

Our B.L.U.E. (Build, Learn, Understand, Enrich) summer internship program is purposefully designed to be an authentic reflection of what it means to be an integral part of McKinstry. This is achieved through our hands-on, summer-long program structured to build a foundation of industry knowledge while personal and professional growth is facilitated through collaboration, exploration, and mentorship. From weekly "lunch & learn" sessions, to our McKinstry Lifecycle Experience, we believe in connecting our interns to various aspects of the company so they can truly evaluate potential career paths within the work we do.
What we look for in our Manufacturing Interns:
College Junior or higher standing, working toward a Supply Chain, Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing degree or related field.
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, and Outlook; working knowledge of SharePoint preferred.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, juggle multiple assignments and maintain attention to accuracy and detail.
Availability in Summer 2025 (May/June start until August/September depending on school); part-time availability after Summer preferred
Must be 18 years of age or older
What are our Manufacturing Interns responsible for:
Creating and implementing process improvements in the shop.
Supporting day-to-day shop operations
Exploring technology applications within the fabrication workspace
Problem-solving using various programs

The hourly rate for this role is $24/hr.
